Vine City Health and Housing Ministry’s mission is to cause the comprehensive revitalization of the human, social, and physical infrastructure and assets of the Vine City community through real estate planning and development, economic development, and human service development.
VCHHM has identified strategic priority areas to focus its community development activities within to accomplish the organization’s mission. VCHHM’s strategic priorities are focused within the general areas of Real Estate, Economic Development, and Human Services.
Real Estate
VCHHM will focus on the development of the built environment in the Vine City community to improve on the physical conditions of the neighborhoods buildings and infrastructure for current and future stakeholders. VCHHM will do this through community planning initiatives, building development projects, infrastructure development projects, and advocating for development resources for the community.
Economic Development
VCHHM will focus on improving the wealth of the Vine City community to improve the economic condition of the neighborhood’s current and future stakeholders. VCHHM will do this through development of mechanisms to create or increase income by creating or nurturing business organizations and making job referrals for the community’s stakeholders.
Human Services
VCHHM will focus on improving the social infrastructure of the Vine City community to improve the wellness of the persons in the Vine City community. VCHHM will do this through the development of mechanisms that improve public safety, health and wellness, and social engagements within the Vine City community.
