The Vine City Health and Housing Ministry, Inc. (VCHHM) is a nonprofit community-based development corporation founded in 1986 by Reverend W.L. Cottrell and formed of neighborhood churches with the purpose of revitalizing the Vine City community. VCHHM received its designation as a tax exempt organization under IRS rule 501(c)(3) in April 1989.
Vine City Health and Housing Ministry’s mission is to cause the comprehensive revitalization of the human, social, and physical infrastructure and assets of the Vine City community through real estate planning and development, economic development, and human service development.
